Event Cancellation Insurance

Our tickets are insured by Adventure Advocates for one of two scenarios:
If the entire event day is cancelled due to weather, you will be refunded 100% of your ticket price.

This coverage is an agreement between the ticket holder and Adventure Advocates and is paid for out of your tickets' processing fee. Full terms of this insurance are explained in your ticket waiver.

04
What do I get with my ticket?

Each ticket comes with 2 lanterns, a marker for your lantern, and a sitting mat. You will pick up your participant kit right after you enter the ticket gates. Each person entering the festival is required to have their own ticket.

05
Are the lanterns safe?

Yes. But with any open flame, there is a possibility to burn yourself if you aren’t careful when lighting and releasing your lanterns. Please use caution.

06
Are the lanterns biodegradable?

The lanterns are 100% biodegradable. We will recover 100% of the lanterns plus any additional litter we find in the landing area as part of our commitment to leaving the area better than we found it.

07
Can I buy extra lanterns?

Extra lanterns can be purchased at registration for $12 and at the venue for $15 while supplies last. Please be aware that for safety and environmental reasons lanterns can not be taken home.

08
Can I write on my sky lantern?

Absolutely. RiSE becomes more meaningful when you make your lanterns personal. Inscribe them with a message, prayer, or resolution. We’ll provide you with the right type of markers that won't damaged in the process.

09
Can I light my lanterns if I’m attending alone?

Yes, but you’ll need to be friendly and recruit someone sitting near you to help. The lanterns require 2-3 people to launch.

10
Is there camping on-site?

We currently do not allow camping at the event.

11
Are animals allowed?

Only trained service animals are permitted.

Rules:
NO emotional support animals, therapy animals, or companion animals.

Pets are NOT allowed and will be turned away.

Legitimate service animals that are properly trained and under the responsible care of their owners will be provided with the appropriate credentials.

Anyone bringing a service animal will be responsible and liable for any damage or injury caused by the animal.

All animals should have legally required vaccinations (which may need to be verified).

All service animals must receive a service animal credential at Will Call in order to enter the venue.

12

Drones, drugs, alcohol, weapons, and outside food or drinks are not allowed except for bottled water. You may bring small bags and backpacks but all will be searched upon check-in for any drugs, alcohol, vapes of any kind, outside food or beverage, weapons or any other hazardous or prohibited items. Please keep in mind that RiSE is held on federal land, therefore federal drug and alcohol laws apply at the venue.

16
Can I get a refund?

Tickets are non-refundable other than for inclement weather as specified above. However, tickets are transferable if you wish to sell them. The name on the ticket is inconsequential.

17
Does one ticket get me into both nights?

No. Each night is a separate, but same, event and requires a ticket. You must purchase a ticket for the night you wish to come.

18
Are tickets transferable to a different night?

We are not able to transfer tickets to different nights.

19
Are RiSE tickets available for purchase on third-party vendor/reseller sites?

All sales are final. Aside from the inclement weather policy, as noted above, RiSE does not offer refunds or exchanges. Be aware that ticket resellers and scalpers use the RiSE name to sell overpriced and invalid tickets. We recommend that you only purchase authentic tickets online through risefestival.com and our ticket processing partner events.com. We are not able to honor the refund for inclement weather unless your tickets are purchased directly from RiSE or our ticketing partner.

20
What is the address of the event?

Because the event is held in the middle of the desert, there isn't a physical address. However, you can follow these instructions to get to the event: If approaching from the South on I-15 (i.e. coming from California), take exit 12 for Jean Goodsprings and follow signage and traffic management to Jean Dry Lakebed. If approaching from the North on I-15 (i.e. coming from downtown Las Vegas), take exit 25 for Sloan and follow signage and traffic management to Jean Dry Lakebed.

21
Can I take an Uber or a Lyft to and from the event?

Because of the remote location of the event, Ubers, Lyfts or rideshares of any type are not allowed. Please purchase parking or a shuttle pass.
